The All-New Citroën C4 and C4 X: A Fusion of Comfort, Technology, and Design
Citroën introduced its latest models, the new C4 and C4 X, at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, refreshing its lineup of C-segment saloons. This unveiling marks a milestone for the brand, which has been on a roll over the past year, renewing its commercial vehicle range, upgrading key models like the Berlingo and SpaceTourer, and setting the stage for new offerings in the B and C segments.
Market Performance and Evolution of the C4 and C4 X
The C4, which launched in late 2020, ranked second in Europe’s mainstream C-segment market by mid-2024. It excelled in versatility, offering various options to suit customer needs and securing third place in the internal combustion engine (ICE) market. Its electric variant remains among the top five in the segment. The C4 X, introduced in 2023, gained traction in the Middle East, particularly in Turkey, and its presence is growing across Europe.
The new iterations of these models bring a heightened sense of maturity and sophistication, building on their historical strengths—comfort and space. Both vehicles retain their distinct identities while gaining a more refined, balanced design that appeals to modern drivers seeking simplicity, strength, and modernity.
Enhanced Comfort and Cutting-Edge Technology
Citroën has amplified on-board comfort with redesigned Advanced Comfort® seats and a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster to complement the 10-inch touchscreen. The vehicles also feature Citroën's Advanced Comfort® suspension and nearly 20 driving assistance technologies, ensuring a serene driving experience. These features, combined with spacious interiors and a sleek design, make the C4 and C4 X ideal for those who prioritize comfort and convenience in their daily drives.
Commitment to Electrification and Eco-Friendly Engines
Design Evolution and Customization Options
Both the C4 and C4 X sport a new look, inspired by Citroën's 2022 OLI concept. The front features the brand’s new logo and a redesigned radiator grille, exuding a confident road presence. LED headlamps, new aero wheels, and refined side guards contribute to the vehicles' modern, aerodynamic design. Two new color options—Manhattan Green and Mercury Grey—join the existing palette, offering buyers more customization choices.
