Hello, my name is Akadip, I am the owner of the custom workshop AKAgarage.id and the owner of this motorcycle, Mr. Dony Firmansyah.
Make, type of motorcycle and year of production?
Yamaha Scorpio Year 2010.Because I have really liked motorcycles since I was in junior high school. Since high school, I have been interested in custom motorcycles because I believe that custom motorcycles are very different from ordinary motorcycles. When I was in college, I decided to open a workshop because I wanted to make everyone's dream of having a custom motorcycle come true, just like me when I was in high school. For example, the owner of this motorcycle, Mr. Dony, who has also loved motorcycles since he was in high school.
What is the concept and what was it inspired by?
Urban street tracker, that's it hahaWith its USD suspension, chunky Shinko tires and slightly taller rear monoshock suspension, it deserves to be called an URBAN STREET TRACKER.
What was customized?
Starting with the arm which we handmade from the original Scorpio arm, the size is much smaller, then on to the frame which is slightly made to rise slightly and all bodysets such as the tank, fenders, and battery cover are all handmade.What is your favorite part of this motorcycle and why?
Rear tire and chrome engine block. Why the rear tire? Because I think this rear tire is really cool because it uses a tire size that is slightly different from most custom motorcycles.
Why the chrome engine block? Because here, with a little touch of chrome coloring on this part, it adds an elegant impression to this motorcycle, especially since the motorcycle is painted in black, making the motorcycle always look clean.
Tell us about the joys and sorrows of the customization process?
The joy is that me and the team akarrage.id who worked on this motorcycle are satisfied because the owner of this motorcycle, Mr. Dony, is very satisfied with the results of this garage's work hehe
The sadness is when we entered the finishing stage because when we were about to take the tank, it suddenly leaked in the middle, causing the paint on the tank to peel off and have to be redone
Fortunately, the owner of this motorcycle is kind and gave us more time to fix it.
Are there any other desires that you want to implement on the motorcycle?
According to the owner, it's enough for now, because he wants to save money again to make another one hehe
