Hello, I'm Fajar Budi Mulia from Jakarta, this motorbike was customized by Brilliant Custom Motorcycles.
Brand, type of motorbike and year of production?
Yamaha Scorpio 225cc 2006Why did you decide to customize your motorbike?
I've always wanted to have a Café Racer motorbike because I like clutch motorbikes, don't like pillion rides, and want it to give the impression of racing and be elegant. When you got this motorbike, the Scorpio was really good material for customizing, you didn't need to think about going straight to the gas and looking for a custom workshop to make it into a Café Racer. What is the concept, and what is it inspired by?
The concept is of course the Café Racer genre. Inspired by the history of Café Racer motorbikes which were used to hang out from cafe to cafe in England, this motorbike was made with a simple and elegant concept for hanging out drinking coffee, sunmori and riding casually handsomely on the road. What is custom made?
Everything except the engine, even the frame was cut. Apart from that, the tank is custom made using a 1.2mm galvanized plate, as are the front and rear fenders and the hornet section. In other parts, custom changes to the swing arm, rear shock from mono to dual shock, custom footsteps, mirrors, handlebar, front and rear lights, turn signals, seats and several other parts
What part do you like most about this motorbike, why?
The hornet part, because the hornet concept that I applied is not too round but not too small. Another part is the number 25 on the side cover, personally this is identical because that is my birth date.Tell us about the ups and downs of the custom process?
The joy is, this motorbike succeeded in meeting and even exceeding expectations, not only is it solid, simple and elegant, but the parts used for the front and rear shocks, braking system, headlamp, rims, tires, etc. are "not tin cans".Unfortunately, because the parts that were "not cans" were purchased in installments, plus revisions to adjust the shape to make it look solid and choose colors and motifs to make it look simple and elegant, this motorbike took quite a long time, almost 6 months.
Do you still have other wishes that you want to apply to your motorbike?
Looks like I'm going to complete it with body detailing and glasscoating to make it shine even more!Describe motorbike work in 3 words?
