A Motorcycle Built for Versatility and Durability
Truly a multi-purpose and heavy-duty motorcycle, even an armored prototype was developed. FN itself operated a fire-fighting Tricar for their own factory's fire department.

The 1939 FN Tricar war motorcycle could carry a load of up to 550 kg (1,213 lbs), with a top speed of 75 km/h (47 mph). Quite impressive for a large-bodied motorcycle like this, considering its own vehicle weight of around 425 kg (937 lbs).
To facilitate the repair process, FN engineers divided the frame into two sections at the seat level.
